Our salute to the U.S. Military and First Responders will feature breathtaking show jumping competition and entertaining exhibitions on Friday, October 27, at The Show Place Arena in Upper Marlboro, Maryland.
WIHS is offering special half-off ticket pricing for the U.S. Armed Forces and First Responders valid on Friday, October 27, only. Returning to WIHS this year, internationally renowned master horseman, entertainer and bush poet, Australian Guy McLean shares his special connection with a team of liberty horses in amazing feats of training and trust.
A show favorite, Army vs. Navy Barrel Racing pulls out all the stops as top show jumpers and pro rodeo riders represent the military in a high-speed racing challenge through the barrels to the finish.
The small but mighty Shetland Ponies and their junior jockeys gallop over mini hurdles in the final of the WIHS Shetland Pony Steeplechase Championship Series, now in it’s 11th year.
