WIHS “Dressage for Jumping” clinic with Laura Graves

WASHINGTON, Aug. 3–A “Dressage for Jumping” clinic with U.S. Olympic team bronze medalist Laura Graves hosted by the Washington International Horse Show (WIHS) and presented by BarnManager, will be held on Tuesday, August 14, from 11 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at Ohana Equestrian Preserve, owned by Melissa and Jim Pankas in Aldie, Va. Auditors are welcome to attend free of charge.

Graves, runner-up at the 2018 FEI World Cup™ Final and recent winner of the CDIO5* Grand Prix in Aachen, Germany, will conduct the clinic for Team Kama trained by Kama Godek, LLC. The group received the clinic as the grand prize for winning the 2017 WIHS Barn Night Group Video Contest, sponsored by BarnManager. Team Kama produced, directed, and starred in the winning video that focused on the 2017 Barn Night theme of “Equestrians Around The World”.

The clinic will emphasize dressage fundamentals for the training and benefit of hunter, jumper and equitation riders. Graves will cover advanced flatwork exercises to improve the performance of both participating horses and riders.
