May 19, 2026 – The Washington International Horse Show is excited to announce the hosting of the Ethos Award at the show this year on Saturday, October 24, 2026. WIHS is honored to have been the inaugural host site for the Ethos Award in 2022 and eagerly anticipates welcoming everyone back to celebrate this year’s awardees.

Ethos Award Equestrian, Inc. Announces 2026 Award Recipients
Ethos Award Equestrian, Inc. is proud to announce the six distinguished recipients of the 2026 Ethos Award. These individuals are acknowledged for their exceptional leadership, accomplishments, and lasting impact within the equestrian community. The 2026 awardees are Zoie Brogdon, Sophie Gochman, Berry Porter, Rob Van Jacobs, Geñay Vaughn, and Dr. Miguel Wilson.
The awardees will be formally recognized during a champagne brunch gala held in their honor at the Washington International Horse Show. The event will take place at The Show Place Arena in Upper Marlboro, Maryland, on Saturday, October 24, 2026, at 10:00 a.m.
Founded to celebrate and elevate the contributions of Black and Brown equestrians, The Ethos Award continues to spotlight individuals who are creating meaningful change and inspiring a more inclusive future.
