Upperville, VA – The prize list for the 2026 Washington International Horse Show (WIHS) Regional Horse Show, presented by the Peterson Fellows Family, and the USHJA Zone 3 Championship is now available at www.wihs.org/wihs-regional. The show runs October 15-18 at Salem Farm Showgrounds in Upperville, VA. Entries are now open until Tuesday, September 29, 2026.

The Road to WIHS Runs Through Virginia
A competitive show in its own right, the WIHS Regional Horse Show offers hunters, jumpers, and equitation riders the chance to earn a spot at the 2026 Washington International Horse Show, October 19–25 at The Show Place Arena at Prince George’s Equestrian Center. Grand champions in the Children’s and Adult Hunter, Junior and Amateur Jumper, and each section of the Pony Jumpers will automatically qualify for the WIHS Championships. Top entries in the WIHS Regional Hunter and WIHS Regional Pony Hunter divisions will also qualify for the WIHS Regional Hunter Finals and WIHS Regional Pony Hunter Finals at the prestigious 68th annual WIHS.
The WIHS Regional Horse Show is recognized by US Equestrian, the United States Hunter Jumper Association (USHJA), the Virginia Horse Shows Association (VHSA), and the Maryland Horse Shows Association (MHSA).

In addition to regional competition, the USHJA Zone 3 Championship will be held on Sunday, October 18, featuring hunter and jumper sections. With only 20 invitations available per section, every placing counts. Check the Zone standings at USHJA.org to see where you stand heading into the USHJA Zone 3 Championship.
