WIHS Regional Horse Show Presented by TTR Sotheby’s International Realty Taking Place at Morven Park

WASHINGTON, Oct. 15, 2020–The 2020 WIHS Regional Horse Show presented by TTR Sotheby’s International Realty, featuring the USHJA Zone 3 Championship, is now underway at Morven Park International Equestrian Center in Leesburg, Va.

The event will run through Sunday, Oct. 18, before the popular Washington International Horse Show (WIHS) presented by MARS Equestrian™ kicks off on Wednesday, Oct. 21.

The WIHS Regional Horse Show showcases local riders in an exhilarating competition environment, and serves as a final qualifier for the WIHS Children’s and Adult Hunter and Jumper Championships presented by MARS Equestrian™, which will be held this year at Tryon International Equestrian Center in Mill Creek, N.C., on Oct. 21 and 22. The USHJA Zone 3 Championship will take place on Sunday, Oct. 18, and feature year-end honors for USHJA Zone 3 competitors.

In a year filled with uncertainty, the WIHS Regional Horse Show and USHJA Zone 3 Championship were able to move forward thanks to unwavering support from partners like presenting sponsor, TTR Sotheby’s International Realty. Even faced with a change of venue and strict COVID-19 protocols to keep all those involved safe and healthy, the WIHS Regional Horse Show will include strong competition in 2020.

Official Artwork for WIHS and Regional Horse Show Unveiled
The management teams of both the Washington International Horse Show presented by MARS Equestrian™ and the WIHS Regional Horse Show presented TTR Sotheby’s International Realty are proud to release the one-of-a-kind event posters for each competition. 

Poster artwork for WIHS was created by well-known equestrian artist Sharon Lynn Campbell, a self-taught talent who first picked up a paintbrush two decades years ago. She has been providing the official artwork for WIHS since 2015.

Virginia native Kelly Wilkinson Coffin created the artwork for the WIHS Regional Horse Show’s first official poster. Coffin is a lifelong lover of horses and art, but only began to pursue her interests professionally about 20 years ago following a distinguished career as a Naval Aviator and airline pilot.
