Welcome Media!

There will be new events, special stories and best of all, amazing horses, at the 66th Annual Washington International Horse Show, taking place Oct. 21-27, 2024, at The Show Place Arena, Prince George’s Equestrian Center in Upper Marlboro, MD.

The show will run seven days (Monday-Sunday), and three nights (Thursday, Friday and Saturday).    

The Media Center will be open daily starting on Monday, Oct 21 at 7:00 a.m. through Sunday, Oct 27.

To be eligible for a press credential, you must meet the following criteria: 
  1. Be associated with or on assignment for a recognized publication, news service, website, radio or television station;
  2. Submit a letter of assignment or email from the assigning editor or publisher, with the request for press credentials; OR
  3. Submit a copy of your published article or photograph, published within the last year.

Editors assigning more than one photographer are asked to designate ONE primary photographer.

Press credentials must be requested using the form below. Those approved for credentials will be contacted by the media office. Please complete this form to apply for a media credential. 

All private photographers are required to apply for a private photographer credential if they plan to give or sell their photos to exhibitors. A limited number of private photographer credentials are available on a first-come, first-served basis and are subject to management approval. WIHS will maintain a waitlist and inform waitlisted photographers of any cancellations and open opportunities.
